An 18-year-old female pedestrian was killed in a high-speed collision in Newham on Tuesday, October 15.
She was hit by a Nissan Juke that deflected off-course following a car crash and the driver, a 45-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police were called to the scene at 15:44hrs, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her next of kin have been notified. Striking footage uploaded by the Instagram account @london.ukcrime displays how the Juke, taken off course at Barking Road, veered at blistering pace toward the pavement and hit the pedestrian at speed, sending her body flying upwards. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBLwyn6pmMj/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
